ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY


Flamco UK Ltd is fully committed to complying with environmental best practice within all of its business activities. Flamco UK Ltd takes its responsibility very seriously regarding limiting the impact of its business activities upon the environment.

All Flamco UK Ltd staff are instructed to focus on minimising the use of energy, water consumption, emissions and waste packaging. We also ensure that all Flamco UK Ltd products keep energy usage and impact on the environment to a minimum. Flamco UK Ltd’s written policy is as follows:

• Flamco UK Ltd instructs all staff to minimise waste in every corner of our business. Where we do produce waste we recycle as much as possible

• Flamco UK Ltd always uses best practice to develop innovative solutions regarding energy issues within our business sector

• Where at all possible Flamco UK Ltd uses renewable energies

• Raise awareness with all staff and actively encourage environmental responsibility

• Flamco UK will deal to the best of its abilities with accidental emergencies regarding contamination caused from its business activities

• Flamco UK endeavours to keep carbon emissions, either from its site or from cars that are used through the course of business activities, to a minimum

• Flamco UK works with its suppliers and customers to ensure that the supply chain keeps environmental impact to an absolute minimum

The responsibility for ensuring that Flamco UK Ltd abides by the above falls to the following:

• The Managing Director

• The Senior Management team

• Departmental Managers


This policy is reviewed and update regularly. It is available for any of the Public, Stakeholders or any other Interested Party on request.

CHARITY POLICY 


As a responsible company Flamco UK takes its corporate social responsibility very seriously and views that a positive approach to community relations is in the long term interest of the company and all its stakeholders.

With this in mind we have detailed our policy for supporting charitable activities below:

• Charities aimed at improving the quality of its beneficiaries lives

• Charities that support Children

• Charities that support social problems

• Charities that support the local communities

• Charities that promote education and help disadvantaged people realise otherwise unattainable goals



In addition we ensure that all charities we support meet the following criteria:

• Any charity we support must be a registered charity or organisation and must clearly state their charitable objectives

• Any charity must be able to prove that they have up to date financial records and that the charity is financially sound

• Be based in either the UK or Eire and that they meet the needs of local communities

• Be able to show readily how all funds generated benefit the intended beneficiaries


We will not support the following:

• Any charity that raise monies for political causes or parties

• Any charity that promotes religious views or ideas

• Any charity that supports anything that conflicts with our Business Conduct Policy or our Ethical trading policy 

We actively encourage employees to partake in any charity that we support through inviting them to attend any event that we are involved in.
